Alexa demie is a well-known actress, who played the complex yet strong Maddy Perez, in the HBO television show Euphoria. The show was an enormous success, and one of HBO's most watched shows. The storyline revolved around the addiction and use of drugs by teens, and how they recovered. Alexa's story was one that viewers could relate to because her neighborhood was home to an incredibly high percentage of drug use. Alexa had an incredibly difficult childhood. As an teen she fled to escape the dysfunctional family she was raised in. She was a creative individual who started embellishing ordinary sunglasses with stones, beads and other forms of jewelry. Thanks to her friend, she made them available for sale. In a video clip which she made her first appearance on screen. Her next appearances were in short films. Euphoria launched her into stardom.
