Melina Kanakaredes is an American actress is known for her performances as her character of Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama "Providence" as well as Dr. Lane Hunter in the medical drama "The Resident. The actress is famous for her role as the detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama, 'CSI:NY" with the role of Dr. Lane Hunter at the medical drama The Resident.' Also, she was praised for her acclaimed television debut as Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series 'Guiding Light'. She's appeared in several films which include '15 minutes,'Percy, Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief as well as 'Snitch. The actress is said that she is working on the film adapting Elisabeth Kubler Ross' autobiography"The Wheel of Life.' This film was created by Vlas Parlapanides and Charley Parlapanides. The actress is also working on a brand new TV show called Gods & Heroes.
